The Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1848. The academy comprises of six departments. In the academy, the 3 to 5 years of complete studies lead to the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts. However, the Master’s degree from the academy takes two years longer to complete. During the academic year 2006-2007, the number of students in the Academy of Fine Arts is about three hundred.
