What services does your organization provide?
Ndinawe provides many services including:

    Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Youth volunteerism is encouraged as much as adult volunteerism.


    Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
    No.


    What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
    Time commitment varies based on the needs of the volunteers, and the desired program they wish to volunteer with. Time commitments can be discussed upon initial meeting with Coordinator.


    Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
    All Volunteers must complete a criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry.


    Are there any specific skills and experience required?
    All special skills and experience are appreciated. Experience in dealing with high risk youth can be an asset.


    What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
    Volunteers are always needed to assist with the many programs at the Ndinawe Youth Resource Center. These programs include cooking, recreation/sports, Music, Cultural, Art, and more. Volunteers are also needed for the Ndinawe Child and Youth Care Program. Volunteer tutors are always a need for this Program.


    Is there any training provided for volunteers?
    Volunteers may be able to access training such as First Aid and CPR, Food Handlers, and more.


    Do you accept high school students?
    Yes.
