Canines with a Cause is a registered charity dedicated to train and provide assistance dogs for people in the community with mobility related disabilities. Our charity truly relies on the support from the community so that they can continue to offer these very special dogs to those who need them. Although there is an approximate cost to our charity of $14,000 per assistance dog that makes it to graduation, these dogs are placed with people affected with a number of disabilities at no cost to them.

Chiefswood National Historic Site

Following the passing of the last Johnson child, Evelyn Johnson in 1937, the mansion was left in Evelyn's will to the Six Nations people. Beginning in 1953, the Six Nations Band Council began raising funds for the restoration of Chiefswood. Through generous support and fundraising efforts, the Chiefswood mansion was opened to the public as a museum in 1963.
