Several schools offer graduate studies in sport and exercise studies. To be admitted to a Master's-level program, students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field such as physical eduation, kinesiology, or sports studies, with at least a B+ average. Practical experience in a sports studies environment, such as that gained though community involvement or volunteer work, is an asset. To be admitted to a PhD program, students must have a Master's-level degree in sports studies or related field. In both cases, the supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
