No.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
At least 4 hours per month

As above


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
No, the desire to be involved with these communities, ability to meet people where they're at and an understanding of how stigma and discrimination affect our service users. All skills can be taught.

Outreach and Education in many areas


Is there any training provided for volunteers?
Orientation Training is mandatory
HIV 101, ACCKWA 101, HArm Reduction and Safe Spaces
Some positions have additional training

Needle Exchange program
Facilitation of workshops
Supporting speakers (people living with HIV) at events
