To raise funds to sustain and enhance quality healthcare in our community hospital

We have no minimum age.

Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
No.

What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Our volunteer Board put in different amounts of volunteer time depending on their positions.
Non Board Member Volunteers are ulitized on an "as needed" basis.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
No.

Are there any specific skills and experience required?
No.

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Event Volunteers (ie, golf event, hockey event)

Is there any training provided for volunteers?
No.

What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization?
Organizing other volunteers, getting prizes, helping out at events

How will a person benefit from volunteering with St Joseph's General Hospital Foundation?
Knowledge that without volunteer help many of our large fundraising events would not take place.

Do you accept high school students?
Yes for special events (ie golf tournament, hockey game) we can use high school students, but within the office we cannot due to confidentiality rules.
