What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
We appreciate all time contributed by volunteer. We work to match the availability of the volunteer with the needs of our services.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
We require a vulnerable screening police reference check is required, two references and a TB test.

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Working with our staff to support our Respite, Social Skills, Adult and Intensive Behaviour Intervention programs. Volunteers also help at our special events - e.g. Family Holiday Party, Golf Tournament and Family Picnic.

Is there any training provided for volunteers?
Training is provided in autism, health and safety, AODA, Workplace Violence Prevention, Emergency Preparedness.

What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization?
Preparing program materials
Supporting clients on community outings.
