What services does your organization provide? Since 1989, DeafBlind Ontario Services has enabled individuals who are deafblind to live more independently by providing residential and other specialized services.

Do you require language proficiency other than in English? No
What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer? 4-6 hours
Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer? Fill out volunteer application, phone interview.
Are there any specific skills and experience required? Enthusiasm and outgoing personality. Community/corporate contacts and sales background are an asset.
What type of volunteer positions are typically available? Events, event committees - specifically for Glow Golf event in London on September 13, 2012.
Is there any training provided for volunteers? On-site training for specific events
What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization? Event committe member, special event volunteers, client support, administrative, board & board committees.
