What services does your organization provide?
Rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals in need
Trap/Neuter or Spay/Release of ferals into maintained colonies
Assistance through owner/foster program for individuals who have to give up their pets
Do you have any age requirements?
18 years old
Reside in Toronto, Ontario
Reliable, dependable, willingness to keep committments
Love of animals
What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Attend one function or event every three months
If assisting foster homes working with animals, one day per month
Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer? Love of animals Willingness to work with others for the greater good of the rescued animals
Are there any specific skills and experience required? No specific skills or experience required. \rTraining provided
What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Attending fundraising events (garage sales etc.)
Attending adoption days (monthly in PetValus)
Assisting foster homes working with shy animals
Assisting in trapping of feral cats to be altered and re-released
Driving cats to and from vets, foster homes
Is there any training provided for volunteers? Training is provided by senior members as required for depending on what the volunteer is done. Hands on training
