Boys and Girls Clubs have been serving young people and their families in BC's Lower Mainland since 1936. As of April 1, 2011, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver (BGCGV) and Boys and Girls Club Community Services of Delta/Richmond (BGCCS) officially merged to form Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC (BGC).
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. In a word, our work is "prevention." We believe the unified strength, expertise, resources, and networks will create the region's leading provider of preventative, critical hour's programs, and related services for children, youth, and families.
