Our mission: Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario is a registered non-profit Canadian charity run by volunteers. The Basset Hound is an often-misunderstood breed that leads to a remarkable number of abandoned and unwanted dogs requiring homes. Basset Hound Rescue will take in surrendered and unwanted Basset Hounds, make sure all veterinary care is provided, place them into foster homes where they are assessed and adopt them into suitable loving permanent homes.
