Advocates for the Underdog RescueAdvocates for the Underdog was formed in 2004 by Natalie Kemeny and Tammy Williams when the City of Windsor, Ontario, Canada proposed to implement Breed Specific Legislation by banning "pit bulls." Disgusted by the number of dogs that were being sentenced to death for no other reason than having a square head and a muscular build, AFTU quickly became a rescue organization that specialized in "bully" breed dogs. To date AFTU has successfully rescued over 419 dogs and placed them into loving, forever homes.
