A Dog's Dream Rescue

What services does your organization provide?

• Safe homes for stray dogs that are homeless.
• Rehabilitation and training so that the dogs can be adopted.

Do you have any age requirements?
Foster homes are needed. Dogs cannot be saved from being euthanized unless there is a foster home available. Foster homes take care of the dog as if it were their own until a permanent home can be found. Food and vet needs are covered by the rescue. Adults only.

Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
Only english is required

What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Keeping the dog until a home can be found. It can vary from a few days to several weeks.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
People with homes are preferred. Abilty to properly exercise and train a dog.

Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Yes, prior experience with taking care of or owning a dog.

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Help is also need to transport the dogs from one home to another or to an adoptive home. Help is needed at adoption events.

Do you provide training for volunteers?
No.

What are the typical volunteer activities occurring at your organization?
Basically fostering is primary and essential.
