What services does your organization provide?
Training in discipline, citizenship and skills to enhance knowledge in taking up flying as a career

Do you have any age requirements?
19 years of age

Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
No.

What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
The parade night is held once a week and the time is from 6:45 to 10:00 PM. There are other activities such as band, flag party, sports and drill competition training which a volunteer can attend

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
As specified above

Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Not neccesarily but a prior knowledge of military discipline is preferred. The volunteer has to submit a Volunteer Screening report before being allowed to be with the cadets

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Volunteers who can put in dedicated work with cadets in class or floor training or attending outdoor camps in fall, winter and spring organized by the squadron

Do you provide training for volunteers?
If not familiar with military discipline, then volunteer would be trained by use of books and floor training

How will a person benefit from volunteering with 351 Silver Star Air Cadet Squadron?
Hands-on experience in handling of children between the ages of 12 and 18. Organizing, Planning and implimenting the training schedule for the day. Air Cadets is a well known organization and hence a good reference on the resume.
