Undergraduate Law DegreesAcademically, the Faculty offers only undergraduate programs. Currently, the Faculty affords 3 main degrees including a 3-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a 4 year Joint LLB/Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Business Administration; the latter allows students 'to apply to the Faculty of Law during their third year' of study. Students in the upper years of their respective LLB programs may take specialized courses in an array of topics including Aboriginal Law, Business Organizations, Comparative Law, Corporate Finance, Credit Transactions, Environmental Law, Family Law, Feminist Advocacy, Human Rights, Insurance, Intellectual Property, International Law, Legal History, and Property Law.
Furthermore, law courses focusing on Property, which may be taken for credit, depending on Faculty approval, are available via the Faculty's Centre for Property Studies. Such courses include, among others, Intellectual Property, Leaseholds, Covenants and Condominiums, and Real Estate Transactions. Moreover, students may spend a term learning abroad; the Faculty has international exchange partnerships with many post-secondary institutions worldwide including schools in Australia and civil law schools in Quebec.
