University of New Brunswick Law SchoolCareer and Employment OpportunitiesMany of the Faculty's graduates have gone on to distinguished careers as, among other things, ambassadors, lawyers, politicians, and as Justices for the Supreme Court of Canada and Federal Court of Canada. One of the Faculty's more notable alumni is Frank McKenna, former Premier of New Brunswick and Canadian Ambassador to the United States.
To help its students and graduates succeed outside of school, the Faculty has a Career Services department which 'provides career counseling' and 'career services programming (including seminars and workshops).' Additionally, the Articling and Placement Committee assists students to find 'employment positions in law firms' by providing them with information regarding law companies and current job postings as well as organizing Career Fairs and Interview Weekends.
