What is Oncology?Oncology is a branch of medicine that deals with tumors and cancer. Oncology is concerned with the diagnosis of cancer, therapy, follow-up, and palliative care (for terminal cases). It can be divided on the basis of the type of treatment: radiation oncology (radiation therapy), surgical oncology (surgical removal), and medical oncology (chemotherapy).
