Prerequisites for Graduate Studies in Kinesiology |
To be admitted to a graduate-level program in kinesiology, human kinetics, or exercise science, students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field such as sports studies, kinesiology, physical education, or physical therapy, with at least a B average. Experience in a kinesiology environment, such as that gained through volunteer work or clinical placement, is considered an asset.
To be admitted to a PhD program, students must have a Master's-level degree in kinesiology, human kinetics, or exercise science, with at least a B average.
For all graduate programs, the supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
