SFU offers graduate programs in informatics. Students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field such as mathematics or computer science, with at least a B average, for admission to the MA or MSc programs. Professional relevant experience is an asset. A completed Master's-level degree is necessary for admission to the PhD program, or a completed undergraduate degree with at least an A average and a demonstrated aptitude for research.
