To enter a graduate-level program (graduate certificate, diploma, or Master's degree), students must have an undergraduate degree in a health-studies related field such as biology or epidemiology, with at least a B average. A medical degree is also acceptable. A PhD requires a Master's degree in a related field. In all cases, the graduate supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
In some cases, a police record check may be required prior to any field placements the curriculum requires. As well, certain immunizations must be up-to-date, and First Aid and CPR certification may be required.
