Typically, applicants to an MBA program must have a 4-year undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Some programs may require that this degree may be from a certain discipline while others do not have such a specification. An applicant who possesses a 3-year degree should consult with the school to which he/she will apply to determine if his/her degree is acceptable. The applicant must make all required arrangements to have all his/her official transcripts from each post-secondary institution he/she has attended, including proof of graduation, sent to the school to which he/she is applying. All of the aforementioned documents must be official and original and must be sent directly by the appropriate officials from the previous institution(s), usually in a signed and sealed envelope, to the school to which the applicant is applying, usually to the latter's Office of the Registrar.
