Most MBA schools in Canada will require applicants to submit a personal letter. A personal letter is important because it will describe the applicant and thus give him/her an opportunity to make himself/herself and his/her application stand out. Usually, a personal letter will discuss the applicant's education and career/work experience and history, decision to further his/her education, and career goals and how an MBA will help to achieve them. The letter may also discuss the applicant's potential contribution to the class, program, or field he/she plans to enter as well as his/her personal attributes and community and extracurricular activities and interests.
