Examples of such alternative measures are Pre-Charge Diversion and Restorative Justice Community Conferencing, funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and delivered in conjunction with the Chatham-Kent Police Service, as they diligently screen and refer the appropriate youth cases to the agency.
