Crime Stoppers is a community, media and police co-operative program designed to involve the public in the fight against crime. Crime Stoppers provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime. A reward of up to $2000 is offered to anyone providing information, which leads to an arrest, or the recovery of stolen property or the seizure of illegal drugs.

Calgary Youth Justice Society

The Calgary Youth Justice Society provides three programs to support young people who are vulnerable to risk-taking and criminal activities. Youth Justice Committees are an alternative to court. The Committees find appropriate and meaningful consequences and solutions for the young person between 12-18 years involved in criminal activity and his/her victims. Ngage supports youth who are assigned community service hours in response to their offence and who are having trouble starting or completing their mandated hours.

Foothills Regional Victim Services (FRVS) provides assistance to victims of crime and/or tragedy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working in partnership with the RCMP Detachments of High River, Okotoks, Turner Valley and Nanton, FRVS assists residents and visitors in the Foothills area. The goal of FRVS is to limit the impact of crime or tragedy through information, referral, support, assistance, community liaison and education.
FRVS is a not-for-profit, volunteer based, registered society.
