Lanark Animal Welfare Society
Glenview Road, Smiths Falls, Ontario K7A4T1
As an independent No-Kill shelter, LAWS does not euthanize for population control, age, breed or after a set amount of time has passed. Euthanasia is reserved only for those cases where an animal is ill or aggressive to the point that quality of life is impacted. All animals in the shelter's care will be cared for until a suitable home, permanent or foster, is found. LAWS provides food, shelter, veterinary care and love from our dedicated staff and volunteers. We also try to work with other rescues to optimize the adoption of our animals.

MarineLand Canada
7657 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, Ontario
Since Marineland opened over 50 years ago, we have hosted, educated and entertained literally millions of young people. We have heard from many marine biologists, veterinarians, conservationists and oceanographers that it was their childhood experience at Marineland that inspired them to learn more about the wonders of the ocean and its amazing aquatic life. To hear this is so gratifying. Children who come to visit learn about animals they might never knew existed and will grow up to be the champions of the wild cousins of the animals you find at places like Marineland.
