Studying Wildlife in Canada |
Students begin with a background in biology and ecology, where they learn the fundamentals of wildlife interactions and population biology. They then focus on the management aspects: studies in policy and administration, environmental and professional ethics, law, and specialized studies in watershed management.
A significant amount of time is spent in the lab where students can gain hands-on training. As well, many programs include a week-long training camp in the field in order for students to put to use their classroom and lab skills.
