Students must have a completed undergraduate degree in a related field such as chemistry, physics, or computational chemistry, with at least a B or B+ average, for admission to the MSc programs. To gain admission to the PhD programs, students must have an MSc degree. Some schools allow entry to their PhD programs with an honors-BSc degree, provided the student has a sufficiently high average (usually A-) and established an aptitude for research.
