Five English-language schools in Canada offer orthodontics programs: University of Alberta, UBC, U of T, UWO, and University of Manitoba. To be admitted to their graduate programs, students must have completed a Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with at least a B+ average. At least one year of general dentist experience is generally required. Students must have current immunizations, First Aid, and CPR certification. A criminal record check may also be required.
