The Second Atlantic Cultural Space Conference: The Creative Municipality, hosted by artsnb (The New Brunswick Arts Board) will explore how artists and municipalities can co-operate to enhance municipal identity, develop cultural policy, and nurture the local economy. Gemey Kelly, director of Mount Allison’s Owens Art Gallery, will sit on a panel on Creative Spaces. A gala dinner will celebrate the vibrant arts sector in the region, highlighted by an address by Nova Scotia poet George Elliott Clarke.
