MARY'S FIRST NATION CHILDREN FOR FITNESS WALK October 14, 2005 UNB Fredericton News Release: D392 Brad Janes, Public Relations Officer (506) 458-7969 Children from the Chief Harold Sappier Memorial Elementary School at St. Mary’s First Nation will participate in a one-mile walk to promote healthy lifestyle initiatives. The walk, with co-operation from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton’s kinesiology students, will be held Oct. 25. Students will walk in three shifts at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The lifestyle is part of the UNBF initiative known as Building Opportunities, Opening Students’ Tomorrow or BOOST. The public is invited to walk with the students who will follow a route along Highland Avenue. The Fredericton Police Department will ensure the route is monitored for safety reasons.
