Profile of Odette School of Business - University of WindsorThe University of Windsor's Odette School of Business, which has been ranked in the top 3rd of business schools in Canada for 'research achievement,' provides graduate-level programs whose goal is to educate students in 'the knowledge, skills and abilities that help them achieve leadership positions in both the private and public sectors' by enabling them to 'think and act strategically in a global context...value diversity, and...deal effectively with ethical, technological and environmental considerations.' The School is known for its high quality of education that rivals the most high profile business schools in Canada but with lower than average student/professor ratios. Odette's student body is one of the youngest and least experienced in Canada with most students attending the School not only to achieve a higher education but also to explore career options. Offered by the School of Business at the University of Windsor are two main programs including the Master of Business Administration (MBA), which allows students the opportunity of pursuing a general MBA or major in a specific discipline such as Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Management and Labour Studies, Management Science, and Production/Operations Management, and a joint degree in MBA/LLB (Law). Maintained by the School is a Centre for Executive Education whose purpose is to 'fulfill the higher educational needs of managerial and professional employees' by offering three classes of programs.
