New Brunswick Community College - Miramichi Established: Number of Students Programs The New Brunswick Community College at Miramichi offers 19 certificates and diplomas in Applied Arts and Animation, Business, Extended Studies, Health and Community Services, and Natural Resources/Mechanical. Many of the aforementioned programs either are integrated with a co-op component or offer a co-op option which allow students to combine classroom instruction with periods of paid work experience at relevant institutions. Furthermore, the College has university transfer agreements with numerous universities in Canada that enable students to transfer credits earned at the College towards a university-level degree. The College has such agreements with Athabasca University in Edmonton, Alberta, Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia, Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Saint Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and the University College of Cape Breton in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The College also offers correspondence services to students who are not able to attend on-campus classes, including academic upgrading, high school completion, and college courses, and customized training to businesses in Computer Skills, Health Care, Fire Fighting, Forestry, Trades, French, and Sign Language.
