The academy offers students a range of diploma courses and continuing upgrading programs for different facets of the field of aesthetics. The academy offers classes during the day, evening and weekend to suit the convenience of the student. All courses at the Skin Care Academy Inc. consist of theoretical and practical training, with small class sizes to ensure that each student gets the attention they need. The academy has the latest in aesthetic technology and facilities and is approved by both the HRSDC and the RESP. It prides itself in offering students innovative teaching techniques as well as final evaluations that consist of oral, practical and written examinations. Skin Care Academy Inc. currently offers three diploma programs in beauty therapy, advanced beauty therapy and electrolysis. Both beauty therapy programs are full time courses that cover 6 months while the electrolysis course covers 120 hours. Upgrading courses are also available for a wide range of subjects including aromatherapy, laser hair removal, reflexology, gel nails, ear coning and hot stone massages. The academy also offers it graduates, assistance in job placement and writing resumes. The academy currently has a 98% placement rate for its graduates and a number of career opportunities are available in fields like beauty therapy, salons, spas, paramedical aesthetics, make-up artistry and reflexology.
