Canadian Acupressure College, centrally located in Victoria, has been providing quality education since 1994. It is the only institution in British Columbia that trains students in both Zen and Namikoshi styles of Shiatsu. It is also one of the first accredited institutions in North America that trains students in Jin Shin Do® acupressure. Canadian Acupressure College offers both part-time as well as weekend course options. Students are taught using a balanced mix of distance learning, classroom as well as supervised practicum classes. The instructors are highly qualified with many years of experience in their respective fields. The programs are offered are highly flexible and students get to set their own pace. Business training is a part of each program. Canadian Acupressure College offers programs such as the Five Elements Acupressure Diploma, Chair Massage Diploma [100 hours duration], and programs in Jin Shin Do. Basic Level Jin Shin Do® [40 hours duration] as well as Intermediate Level Jin Shin Do® [55 hours duration] is offered. The institution also offers several individual course options enabling students to transfer the credits that they have earned to the diploma programs. Successful students earn a certificate of completion for each course. Successful students may apply for a membership with the Association of Massage Therapists and Holistic Practitioners. They are eligible to practice and may opt to be self-employed or work in a clinic.
