Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture is situated in the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. It is licensed under the Private Vocational Schools Act of Alberta and approved by the Acupuncture Committee of Alberta Health and Wellness. The college is also approved by the Minister of Human Resource and Skills Development Canada under the Income Tax Act. Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture offers diploma programs in Acupuncture and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as a certificate course in Chinese Massage. These programs include courses in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Tuina, Qigong and food therapy. After graduation, students are prepared to sit for licensing examinations all over the world. Facilities at the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture include audiovisual equipment in classrooms, a cafeteria, a clinic and a Chinese herbal dispensary with a variety of herbs and patent herbs. Student accommodation is available in the form of nearby apartments and houses that can be rented out. The course curriculum at Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture is the same as the educational standards of TCM and Acupuncture in Canada, United States and China. Financial Assistance is available to students who apply for it. After completion of the course, graduates are awarded Massage Licenses by the City of Calgary.
