Amoura Aesthetics was awarded the top overall Aesthetic student and the top Gel Nail Technician Program for the province of New Brunswick in 2005 by the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick. Amoura Aesthetics offers full-time Aesthetic classes on the Wednesday after the Labor Day holiday weekend and it usually ends by the last Wednesday of June. It comprises of 235 hours of theory and 1120 hours of practical application. The course fee is about $7295 which includes the costs of a student kit valued at $1295 consisting of the books and material needed for the course of their choice. This, however, does not include the fee charged for the student's uniforms, shoes and personal attires. Amoura Aesthetics offers Gel Nail Technician classes twice a year comprising 95 hours of theory and 210 hours of practical application. The course fee is about $3995 which includes a student kit valued at $995. The fee does not include the the student's uniforms, shoes and personal attires. Students who are accepted are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $300.00 as an administrative fee to secure their seat. The instructors are friendly and as class sizes are small, personalized attention is guaranteed. Successful graduates have a wide variety of job options. They may work for beauty salons, spas, start a home-based business, work in cosmetics firms etc. They find they have many openings in the glamorous, fashion and beauty world.
