Royal City Humane Societywas founded to deal with the pet overpopulation problem in New Westminster. We operate a small shelter in New Westminster where we provide care for injured, stray and abandoned cats. We work in conjunction with the New West Animal Shelter and young, healthy and adoptable animals are referred to the New West Shelter for adoption. Senior cats and those with special needs either remain at the society's shelter or are placed in foster care.
