This charitable centre for contemporary art was established in 1975 as the Clouds & Water Gallery and Visual Production Society. The Maple Leaf Legacy Project is an enormous volunteer endeavour to procure a photograph of each and every Canadian War Grave from the South African War (1899-1902), World War 1 (1914-18), World War II (1939-45), Korean War (1950-52) and all United Nations Peacekeeping Missions to the present day conflict in Afghanistan.

This land comprises three parks - The Weaselhead Natural Environment Area, NorthGlenmorePark and SouthGlenmorePark. They were originally protected from development by the City of Calgary to ensure that the water in the reservoir remained clean and uncontaminated, providing its citizens with that most precious commodity - clean water.
