Several schools with veterinary programs offer DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degrees in equine sciences. As well, U of Guelph offers a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management in Equine Management. Admission to these programs requires completion of high school with an average of at least B+. English, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics are required. Previous practical experience with horses is required as well for admission.
