Cape Breton University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Community Economic Development (CED) is an interdisciplinary program combining studies in the fields of Business and the Social Sciences 'with the practice of community economic development' to provide advanced training in CED. Particularly geared towards individuals who are employed in or are interested in a career in CED as well as 'governments, large corporations, and First Nations organizations,' the Program will be delivered in 3 integrated core modules of 5 courses each 'and a research essay or case study.' Students will complete the latter under the supervision of an assigned research advisor following successful completion of Modlule.3 of the Program. Enrollment in the MBA in CED is limited to 20 students and, in an effort to maintain high academic standards, students must 'maintain a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) to remain in the program.'
