Located in Vancouver, BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) is a member-based non-profit charitable organization that serves communities throughout British Columbia. BEST strives to make our communities healthier places to live by promoting sustainable transportation and land use planning, and supporting pedestrian, cycling, and transit-oriented neighbourhoods.
What We Do:
Since 1991, BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) has been offering innovative programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to inform people about the environmental, health, and community issues surrounding transportation. We work with individual citizens, governments, educators, youth, volunteers, non-profits and community groups to create healthy and sustainable communities for the future.
