Trinity Western University was founded in the province of British Columbia in 1962. It is accredited by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and offers 38 undergraduate and 14 graduate courses for students from all walks of life. The university currently has over 3000 students enrolled. Trinity Western University offers accommodation for students and currently houses over 900 students on campus. The university also offers an extensive range of events and services to encourage spiritual growth. These include chapel services, discipleships, outreach programs and global mission projects. The university has a special Life Calling program as well, which deals with the aspect of how God calls His disciples to serve Him and the community. The university currently offers a wide range of programs. Students can opt for undergraduate courses which are available in full time and part time classes. Graduate programs and part time courses are also available, as well as affiliate programs and off-campus courses. Special programs are also available for subjects such as music and aviation. Trinity Western University also offers its students the services of the Center for Life Calling and Career Development. This department helps graduates assess their career options and goals while keeping in mind their spiritual calling. Students are given assistance with resume writing, developing interview skills and learning about the current job market. Students also learn how to create and maintain an effective portfolio. Students are encouraged to attend the Calling and Career workshops that are held at the university on a regular basis. See also:
