Taylor University College & Seminary was founded in 1939 and is located in the province of Alberta. It is affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities and holds accreditation from the Campus Alberta Quality Council. The institute currently offers a range of three-year and four-year Bachelor degree programs. The institute offers students an evangelical and Baptist perspective on academic and spiritual life. Sound understanding of theological aspects of Christianity as well as rigorous spiritual development is emphasized for every student. Taylor University College & Seminary offers students regular chapel services, retreats, prayer days and prayer groups to help strengthen the sense of Christian fellowship and spirituality in every student. Taylor University College & Seminary also offers three-year and four-year Bachelor degree courses in English, general studies, psychology, religion and theology as well as the social sciences. A certificate course is available in Christian studies as well. The seminary offers a range of theological training at a graduate level to prepare both men and women who are looking to establish a career in serving the Lord. Taylor University College & Seminary has an extensive library that offers students a wide range of resource materials. These include access to electronic databases, 50,000 reference books, CDs, DVDs and access to listening and viewing centers. The institute also organizes a number of student events such as the In-tent Campouts, where students camp out for two days on the campus, interacting with other students. See also:
