The Providence College & Seminary was established in 1925 in the province of Manitoba. Both the college and seminary offer a range of courses which are academic and focus on various facets of Christianity and Theology. The institute is a member of the Association of Theological Schools. The institute currently offers academic and spiritual guidance to over 800 students. The college division offers a wide range of training programs which cover subjects such as aviation, fine arts and business administration. Training programs are also available for church ministries, youth leadership and worship studies. 171 courses which can be transferred to the University of Manitoba are currently offered by the institute. The seminary of Providence College & Seminary offers a number of evangelical training programs to help students further the work of the church. These include Master of divinity courses, Master of Arts programs, a Doctorate of ministry program and a number of non-degree programs. It is the fourth largest seminary in the country. There are a number of student activities available at Providence College & Seminary to help students imbibe a sense of community as they strengthen their spiritual bond with God. This includes attending chapel, ministry teams, field education and a number of events such as harvest festivals, days of prayer, seminary retreats, Christian leadership conferences and mission encounters. Praise and worship nights are held on a regular basis to help stimulate and encourage spiritual fervor in the students. See also:
