The Prairie Bible Institute started out as a collection of eight students who came together in 1922. Today, the institute caters to over 400 students and is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Located in the province of Alberta, the institute offers a wide range of bachelor degree, associate degree, diploma and certificate courses. The Prairie Bible Institute is also open to students from around the world and has students from South Korea, Japan, USA and Namibia in their student body. The institute currently boasts of a job placement rate of over 80% for its graduates. It is home to the Prairie Bible College, which is the oldest bible college in the country. It is also home to the Prairie College of Applied Arts & Technology and the Prairie School of Mission Aviation. The Prairie Bible Institute offers four-year Bachelor of Arts degrees for a number of courses like Christian studies, youth ministry, intercultural studies and theology. Associate degrees are available for courses like mission aviation and general studies. Students can also pursue a diploma in music or a one-year certificate course in subjects like the Bible and intercultural leadership. A certificate of completion course is available for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The Prairie Bible Institute is proud to have its own campus church called The Prairie Tabernacle Congregation. The institute is also home to the Maxwell Memorial Tabernacle, which is the largest religious auditorium in the country. See also:
