The King's University College is based in the province of Alberta and offers a number of degree courses which are recognized by the Universities Act of Alberta. The college is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities and has an enrolment services department for potential students to find out more about admission procedures so as to choose the right course. The college also allows prospective students to visit the campus, attend a class and spend the night in order to get a better feel of the college. Room and board are available free of cost for visiting students. The college has counseling services available as well as free tutoring services for any kind of academic problem. The college also has a special First Year Initiative program to help new students deal with the transition from high school to college. The King's University College offers degree programs in the academic streams of Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Cross-divisional programs are also available for economics, history, politics, communication arts and environmental studies. Financial assistance is available to eligible students and programs are open to students from the international community too. There are currently over 630 students enrolled in the college. The college also provides special student care packages, which can be sent to students on special occasions such as birthdays or Valentine's Day.
