Booth College, established in 1982, is located in downtown Winnipeg, Canada. The college imparts education in religious studies and social sciences based on Biblical standards. All students are offered a one year foundation course called University One basically to create the groundwork from where the students can be launched into various programs. The one year programs include Certificate of Liberal Arts, Certificate of Christian Studies, and Certificate of Leadership Foundations (IMPACT). IMPACT is an eight month course where students are put through adventure camping, skill development and a mission in a foreign country. The three year programs being offered by Booth College are Bachelor of Arts (General) in Christian Studies, Bachelor of Arts (General) in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Bachelor of Arts (General) in Christian Ministries. There are four year courses also which include Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) in Christian Studies, Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) in Youth and Family Studies, Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Christian Studies and Bachelor of Social Work. The college offers a three year post graduate program in Master of Divinity. As part of its extended learning plan, Booth College has study centers all across North America where students who cannot come to its campus in Winnipeg can take up certificate courses in management and chaplaincy. The extended learning centers also offer Bachelor of Arts programs with an option to major in Christian Ministries, Biblical and Theological Studies or in Christian Studies. See also:
