Institution ProfileThe Göteborg University - Valand School of Fine Arts was established in the year 1865. The main campus of the school is located in Central Göteborg. The school is actually a part of the Faculty of Arts of the Göteborg University.
At present, almost one hundred students are enrolled in the various course programs offered by the Göteborg University - Valand School of Fine Arts. The Göteborg University - Valand School of Fine Arts offers two master’s degree course programs. The period for the first program is five years while for the other one is two years. The first program covers the field of fine arts while the other one covers context and media.
Since last year, The Göteborg University - Valand School of Fine Arts has also introduced a two year project based post-graduate education program, Konstlab. Besides that, students seeking advanced education can also get enrolled in a doctoral program in Fine Arts.
