Institution ProfileSør-Trøndelag University College is a leading educational institution of Norway. It was established in 1994, by uniting eight local colleges and happens to be the third largest college in Norway. It comprises of the Faculties of Food Science and Medical Technology, Health Education and Social Work, Informatics and e Learning, Teacher Education and Deaf Studies, Nursing, Technology, and the Faculty of Business Administration - Trondheim Business School. Most of the programs are taught in Norwegian, but a few programs are taught in English too. Regular classroom based learning and distance mode of education are used to impart education.
Sør-Trøndelag University College offers students the chance to take up various programs that can earn them undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. Students can also choose from a variety of continuing education programs. The institution also participates in a variety of student exchange programs and exchange students are offered courses in English, such as the introduction to Norway program. Arts and crafts, music, and physical education are some of the programs available to them. Students can also take up the undergraduate International Program in Business Administration. The Software System Development program is available as a distance-learning program.
Sør-Trøndelag University College also participates in the European Network of Mobility Centers program. Research and development activities are conducted in all of its faculties. Expert faculty members with a vast deal of teaching experience, teach the students.
