Friends of Olivia FoundationMiss Olivia Biron was born to her loving parents Mario & Jennifer Biron on November 22 2001. As a small infant Olivia was diagnosed with multiple heart defects and was flown from the hospital in Thunder Bay to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. Her family felt the emotional and financial strain of being in Toronto as they waited for a new heart for baby Olivia.
Founders' Museum & Pioneer VillageWith the Museum making use of the 'self-guided' tour format, we are seeking more volunteer assistance to interact with the guests who visit the museum site. Community Living Thunder BayCommunity Living Thunder Bay (CLTB) operates under a chapter issued on October 22nd, 1954 in response to parents brought together by their concern about lack of educational opportunities for their children. During the 1950's and 1960s the Association was involved in the development of pre-schools, developmental centre, schools, workshops and parent support services.
