Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers continues to have an impact on crime. Through its partnership with Thunder Bay Police and other law enforcement agencies, Crime Stoppers has become an important tool for investigators.

Crime Stoppers is a not for profit entity that is run by a volunteer board of directors from our community. The mandate of the organization is simple, fight crime though anonymous tips. It's a formula that works!

Miss Olivia Biron was born to her loving parents Mario & Jennifer Biron on November 22 2001. As a small infant Olivia was diagnosed with multiple heart defects and was flown from the hospital in Thunder Bay to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. Her family felt the emotional and financial strain of being in Toronto as they waited for a new heart for baby Olivia.

With the Museum making use of the 'self-guided' tour format, we are seeking more volunteer assistance to interact with the guests who visit the museum site. We strive to offer a fun volunteering environment where our volunteers enjoy interacting with the public to help ensure our guests have the best possible experience when visiting Founders' Museum & Pioneer Village.

Northern Lights Festival Boreal Community Living Thunder Bay

Community Living Thunder Bay (CLTB) operates under a chapter issued on October 22nd, 1954 in response to parents brought together by their concern about lack of educational opportunities for their children. During the 1950's and 1960s the Association was involved in the development of pre-schools, developmental centre, schools, workshops and parent support services. Many people gave freely of their time to develop these services and to seek government support to maintain and expand upon the small base of services for people with a developmental disability.
